Stoner Guide for Baypark, San Diego
by Urbn Leaf

Here is the scenario: You have the day off work (congratulations!) and you’re ready to spend this special time doing cool stuff and consuming high-quality marijuana. Luckily, San Diego is the perfect city to make both things happen successfully. In fact, there are so many cool things to do in San Diego, you may feel overwhelmed deciding where to start. The last thing we want is for you to fall victim to decision paralysis and end up plopped on your couch at the end of the day having done no cool things and smoked only a little bit of weed, or not the best weed, or, god forbid, no weed at all.

So, we’ve made you a little San Diego stoner guide that you can follow partially or completely for a guaranteed amazing (and sufficiently high) time. This here is the Bay Park edition… LFG.

Urbn Leaf San Diego

Depending on where in the San Diego area you’re starting, you can visit any of the Urbn Leaf locations or order up some weed delivery to ensure you have everything you need for your big (stoner) day

Morning Glory

For breakfast, Morning Glory in Little Italy is an excellent choice: very cool vibe with slightly psychedelic decor and, most importantly, a fun and diverse breakfast menu of delicious food and morning libations to satisfy any amount of weed munchies you may have

Balboa Park

From there, you can easily bus over to Balboa Park which is only a mile away. You might even opt to mosey over while smoking a scrumptious Urbn Leaf preroll. Again, choose your own adventure.

Once you arrive at Balboa Park, you’ll have a ridiculous amount of activities and sights to choose from. This 1200-acre Park has multiple museums to visit, including the Institute of Contemporary Art, Centro Cultural de la Rasa, the Comic-Con Museum, and many more. You might also stroll through the park’s many gorgeous gardens, peruse its unique shops, or tour its countless art installations.

If you’re looking for more of a “sit down” experience, you could always check out what’s playing at the IMAX® in the Fleet Science Center. Whichever activity you pick, I highly recommend taking your experience to the next level with some of the best weed edibles in San Diego from Urbn Leaf!

Kiko's Place

What to do now? The answer is more food and more marijuana. And, since you’re right on the sea, seafood is probably the move. Luckily, one of the city’s best seafood joints – Kiko’s Place – is right over in Bay Park, and just so happens to be around the block from San Diego’s best weed dispensary.

Urbn Leaf Bay Park

Our suggestion is that you visit the Feel Good Fam over at Urbn Leaf in Bay Park to grab a new juicy vape cartridge. Then, you can puff to your heart’s content on your delightfully short walk over to Kiko’s Place for the best fish tacos, ceviche, or clamatos you’ve ever had.

Tecolote Canyon

After lunch, there are lots of nearby options for amazing San Diego stoner activities. You might visit Tecolote Canyon for some lovely hiking and photo ops or Fiesta Beach for some proper beach lazing. As always, you do you.

We’re getting near the end of this guide and we haven’t yet discussed one of the most essential aspects of San Diego: burritos. And what pairs perfectly with a delicious burrito? Delicious bud. Luckily, you’re still super close to the best weed dispensary in San Diego and it’s but a quick train ride to one of the city’s best burrito places.

Urbn Leaf

If you’re in need of a refill, best to visit your friends at Urbn Leaf Dispensary first, because we wouldn’t want you riding the train sober, for goodness sakes. By this point in your journey, you may need some extra guidance and, thankfully, Urbn Leaf’s budtenders are marijuana experts just waiting to make your weed buying experience as magical as possible. Suggestion: grab some Care by Design Joint & Muscle cream or Dr. May’s topical balm while you’re there… we’ll explain.

Whilst moseying over to catch the Blue line, you might pop a few of the tasty weed edibles you just got from Urbn Leaf. Then, pick you a comfy seat on the train, kick back for 15 minutes, and enjoy the ride past the beautiful Mission Valley Reserve and through San Diego’s charming Old Town to Washington Street Station. Lucha Libre Taco Shop – one of San Diego’s best taco and burrito spots and by far the most fun to hang out in – is but a mere 5 minute walk away!

Lucha Libre Taco Shop

When you arrive at Lucha Libre Taco Shop, you’ll be delighted to find you are in fact surrounded by weird, colorful, sparkly Lucha Libre wrestling decor. (If you didn’t know, Lucha Libre is a very specific (and ultra stylish) form of Mexican pro-wrestling!) If it were me, I’d order the Birria Cali burrito (also available as a vegan option), but any of their burrito or taco options will get your juices flowing.

Waterfront Park

After appropriately stuffing your face with Lucha Libre goodness, you might head down to catch the sunset at Waterfront Park, which is just another quick jaunt south on the Blue line. There’s even ridiculously delicious ice cream at the Salt & Straw right around the corner… jussayin.

And there you have it! A full day of iconic San Diego experiences paired with the highest-quality weed in San Diego, all wrapped up together like a scrumptious, magical space burrito. Remember that Urbn Leaf topical cream we suggested earlier? After your big day, you might want to rub some on your feet and legs once you get home, for a quicker, easier blast-off to the planet Sleep.
