Kale Kush Smoothie Recipe

Green Cannabis-Infused Smoothie 

 

Nothing beats the smell of a freshly brewed pot of coffee. However, this revitalizing, cannabis-infused, green smoothie puts up stiff competition. We’ve found the perfect recipe to energize, or should we say…elevate your morning without the jittery crash. 

Leafy greens, such as kale, are an excellent source of iron – which, according to Healthline, can help fight fatigue. Aside from kale, this recipe includes healthy fats in the form of avocado and cannabis-infused coconut oil which has been said to help maintain energy levels, reduce inflammation, and boost cognition. 


Ingredients: 

1/3 cup pineapple, freshly diced 

1 cup kale or 2 kale leaves, de-stemmed 

½ – 1 tbsp cannabis-infused coconut oil 

½ avocado

1 cup water or coconut milk 

1 tsp matcha green tea (for an extra energy boost) 

 

Optional: 

½ cup full fat plain Greek yogurt 

½ banana to replace avocado (or to add extra sweetness) 

 

Instructions: 

Add all ingredients into a high-speed blender and blend until the smoothie reaches the desired consistency. Feel free to add ice or adjust liquid, based on personal preference. 

 

 

**Note: If you do not have time to make your own cannabis-infused coconut oil, you can always substitute regular coconut oil into the recipe then add in a few extra drops of your favorite tincture to the blender.
