How To Manage After Consuming Too Much THC

What To Do When We Over Do It

In a world where we dab THC distillates testing upwards of 99% THC, I don’t think it should be considered paranoid to have an escape plan. Sometimes a king sized joint of a Sativa strain will spiral me into an anxiety attack. There’s no shame in being a human. When these times of cannabis-induced panic strike there are ways to manage. Excess cannabinoid activity in the endocannabinoid system can result in anxiety. And products like the one’s that we’ve described can certainly overdo the brain’s cannabinoid activity. CBD can modulate excessive cannabinoid activity in the brain, halting anxiety in its tracks. That is why we almost always turn to CBD when the THC-high begins to turn.

CBD Tincture

This is a great option to balance out the endocannabinoid system. But we do have to keep in mind that when we ingest cannabinoids it takes time for the effects to fall into place. For this reason, a tincture is not always the best option in an emergency anxiety situation. The reason that we mention CBD tincture for this issue is because it is so readily available. CBD tincture or Hemp Oil is even available at most local health food stores now. These are amazing because they’re readily available, however, there are better options that act more quickly.

Distillates

CBD Distillates can be the perfect way to get immediate relief from too intense a rush of cannabinoids. A distillate is an extraction in which the cannabinoid, in this case, CBD, is completely isolated from the other compounds (cannabinoids, terpenes, chlorophyll, etc.) found in the whole plant. Dabbing or vaping a CBD distillate is the fastest way to bring the endocannabinoid system back to balance. Since CBD is readily available and CBD distillate is easier to make than others like THCA, it should be easier to find.

These are two common and easy ways to balance ourselves in the off chance we consume or inhale too much of the psychoactive compound THC.
